Hong Kong’s first-ever professional doctorate in Real Estate and Construction on offer
PolyU’s Department of Building and Real Estate (BRE) is launching the Doctor of International Real Estate and Construction (DIREC) Programme, first of its kind in Hong Kong, in the 2020/21 academic year. The programme is designed to provide an innovative professional development experience for senior executives of the industry, to enrich their theoretical and technical knowledge, develop their management and leadership skills, and equip them with the right mindset to fulfil senior or top management roles in the modern real estate and construction market.
Two distinguished talks on the prospect and challenges of the industry will be staged in April, sharing with the audience advice on personal development to cope with the changes. Speakers of the talks on 3 and 17 April are respectively Dr Charles Lam, President of China Real Estate Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong and International Chapter (CRECCHKI), and Dr Cheung Tin-cheung, former Director of Buildings, Buildings Department of the HKSAR Government.
The Programme is planned to start in September this year, and the application will be closed on 30 April. Interested parties may obtain more information from an online seminar held via BRE’s Facebook live from 2 to 3pm on 7 March (Saturday). Please click here for registration.
